WE

WE

There’s great power in one word, one shift that represents the word: “we.”

It’s the difference between “you do this” and “we’ve got this.” Between “you have a problem” and “we’re going to find a solution.” It’s the difference between “I expect this of you” and “I’m in this with you.”

Our kids need us to come alongside them. To lower our bodies and voices and maybe even our expectations. To be gentle and patient, when they’re not. To never give up on them, even when they already have.

Our kids need us to help them when they’re weak and carry them when they’re struggling.

They need us to be the other person in their “we.”
