Our God is a God Who Forgives & Transforms

We may know what our kids' parents are now, but we don't know what they may be.

Our God is a God who forgives and transforms.

He takes the hardest of hearts and softens them to beating-life. He calls the dead right back to walking-out-of-the-grave-alive. He meets the adulterous woman and tells her exactly who she is, forgives her, and reorients her life.

He takes a self-righteous and self-loving woman like me and makes me His daughter.

Our children's parents are not beyond hope. God can save them. God can change them. He loves them deeply—not for who they could be, but as they are, right now in their lostness. He created them and adores them, despite themselves. Just like He does you and me.

I want eyes that see my kids' parents as my God sees them.
I want a heart that loves them as He loves them.
