Living a Life That is Immeasurably More Than All I Could Ask or Imagine
You know how God is a God “who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine?” I, for one, have found that to very true. Because I didn’t ask for this, and I never would’ve imagined it up. And yet here we are.
I now understand that “more than we ask or imagine” doesn’t mean “bigger and better” in the traditional sense. It can also mean “completely different and totally surprising and borderline crazy.” It means that God plans what’s very best for us, even if it’s not what we thought we wanted. It means that He is not limited by our here and now, comfort consumed, small and selifsh “asks and imaginings.”
It means that He’ll give us whatever makes us more dependent on Him, more in love with Him, more like Him.
I am truly living a life that is immeasurably more than all I could ask or imagine. 🤍
