SARA: ON TURNING OVER OUR OWN IDEALS + THE REALITY OF TRAUMA + WRESTING WITH SCRIPTURE
Okay…admittedly, I was fan-girling a bit when I started my conversation with Sara Hagerty. She might just be my favorite author and speaker and this conversation did not disappoint. Sara is an adoptive mom to 4 and a bio mom to 3 and an all-around-encourager-of-women when it comes to teaching God’s Word and leading us into deeper study and understanding. In our chat, she just opens her heart, her sorrows, her story to us as listeners and walks us through what it looks like to apply beautiful truths from God’s Word to our lives and situations. No doubt, you will be blessed by this episode.
The intro song, The Source, is brought to you by one of the best new worship bands out there, The Evidence. Yes, the frontman is my (talented, brilliant, adorable, Jesus-loving) cousin. No, that's not why I love them.

I am linking all 3 of Sara’s books here because they are all just SO good. I personally spent a month in Adore and used it as a daily devotional during my quiet times each day. Purchase and diving into ANY of them and they will not disappoint.
Sara has recently taken up running again and said that John Thurlow is her go to listen while running. I’d never heard of him so wanted to check him out, you should too!
